Phoenix House Florida delivers the highest quality of care with professionalism and respect. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding and accessible treatment to adults and teens. At Phoenix House Florida (PHFL), we recognize the need to treat complicated issues related to addiction in an accessible and professional environment. When it comes to treating opioid addiction, research has shown that the best outcomes are found when medication is combined with psychological treatments. Our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program use medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach that focuses on an individually tailored program of medication and behavioral therapy.
Our facilities in Brandon, Tampa, and Citra offer a continuum of services, including care for co-occurring behavioral health issues. Treatment is complemented by healthy recreational activities and continuing care services to help our patients maintain productive lives in recovery.
Outpatient Services
Phoenix House Florida provides access to treatment for individuals and families in Hillsborough County. In Brandon and Tampa, we offer comprehensive outpatient services for adults and adolescents. At the Derek Jeter Center, teens confront the underlying causes of their substance use and regain control of their lives by establishing sobriety and building support networks to help sustain recovery. The program’s emphasis on family involvement helps mend family relationships while healing the wounds inflicted by drugs and alcohol. We also help families strengthen their ties as they address adolescent substance use disorder. Our Adult Outpatient Counseling Centers offer treatment services for adults, focusing on patient strengths and addressing individual needs.
Residential Services
Phoenix House Florida located in Citra, in the rolling hills of Marion County, offers Adult Residential Services in separate units for men and women.
Phoenix House Florida also works in close collaboration with the other state and federal agencies to provide a broad spectrum of addiction treatment services.
