Giving Tuesday 2023

GivingTuesday is a global movement that began in 2012 with the goal of “unleashing the power of radical generosity” by mobilizing individuals across the globe to go out into their own communities and do good. Inspired by thinking about all of the blessings we have over the Thanksgiving holiday, and all of the money we’re encouraged to spend during the holidays with the increasing number of events and sales related to Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, etc., Giving Tuesday encourages us to take a day to think of those less fortunate than ourselves and give back. Since 2012, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Join the movement this year by partnering with Phoenix House Florida. The holidays can be a very difficult time for our clients, especially those who are currently participating in our residential programs. We do our best to promote the holiday spirit and provide special experiences at this time of year, but there really is nothing like being home for the holidays. Funds raised this November for Giving Tuesday will be utilized to provide a little extra holiday magic for the clients in recovery in our residential facility.

We appreciate all of our donors’ care, concern, and generosity throughout the year, and especially during this time of year. Even a small amount helps us to do more to provide high-quality treatment services for substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions to those seeking it. Thank you, and happy Giving Tuesday!

How Can We Help?

The Derek Jeter Center

The Derek Jeter Center Adolescent program in Brandon, FL provides comprehensive outpatient services that help families deal with teen substance use and related mental health conditions.

At Our House

For some patients, stepping away from the buzz of everyday life is the only way to make a full recovery. Inpatient treatments help patients refocus their recovery efforts to achieve positive, long-lasting outcomes.

At Your House

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to recovery. Outpatient treatment must follow a continuum of care that starts with a thorough needs assessment and ends with recovery monitoring.
