Who We Are
Phoenix House Florida provides individualized, high-quality, and accessible holistic drug and alcohol addiction treatment. We deliver the highest quality of care for our patients. We recognize substance use is a highly personal struggle, and that it is important to treat the condition in a personalized manner, taking into account each individual’s unique strengths and concerns.
Phoenix House Florida is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. As a nonprofit substance abuse treatment center, one of our primary focuses is accessibility of treatment options. We have two convenient locations offering outpatient services in the greater Tampa Bay area, and we are continuing to work to expand awareness and availability of substance use treatment in our community.
What We Do
According to the most recent National Epidemiologic Survey on Alcohol and Related Conditions, more than 50% of substance use initiation cases occur between the ages 15-19. This is especially concerning as an earlier age of onset of use is significantly associated with the risk of developing a substance use disorder later in life. However, there is always hope.
At Phoenix House Florida, we understand how imperative it is to treat complicated substance abuse issues in an accessible and professional environment. We offer individualized treatment options for all of our patients. As a nonprofit drug addiction recovery center in Brandon, our primary focus is providing our community with high-quality, accessible drug and alcohol abuse treatment.
Our evidence-based opioid addiction treatment program combines medication with psychological treatments, such as counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a holistic, individually-tailored treatment plan for our patients. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is one of the many ways our core values show up in our aligned practices and treatment offerings.
Program Options
Each of our treatment plans is carefully created by our expert clinicians with the patient’s history and needs in mind. While focusing on holistic healing and treatment methods, we offer short-term and long-term options for outpatient treatment. Phoenix House Florida also closely collaborates with other state and federal agencies to provide a broad spectrum of addiction treatment services. Our opioid addiction treatment programs near Brandon are designed with your teen’s health and well-being in mind.
Our outpatient services for adolescents and teens are offered from our Brandon facility (510 Vonderburg Dr. #301, Brandon 33511) and our Rome facility (2103 N Rome Ave, Tampa 33607). Outpatient treatment allows our clients to maintain their day-to-day schedules and stay in school, while also receiving the support they need to overcome opioid use struggles. Clinicians will conduct assessments to decide on the most effective treatment plan for the patient. Then, there will be a continuum of care, beginning with a thorough needs assessment and finishing with recovery monitoring so that the patient’s recovery is fully reinforced.
At the Derek Jeter Center, our outpatient program for teens and adolescents, clients can get to the root causes of their substance abuse problems and are provided with an extensive network of support and a treatment program filled with high-quality care.
